Buran Pass trek trail comprises of dense forest of Oak & Pine trees. The sacred chandernahan Glacial ponds are another attraction of this trek. Chandernahan has seven small and big ponds, easily we can reach upto 5 only , last two remains frozen throughout the year. The flowers and herbs are in plenty along the trail. The fruit trees are in abundance near Burwa village. The panoramic view from Buran Pass is one of the best you can get. The trail after the pass is a bit challenging to decent. The trek is recommended for people who have done at least one multi day Himalayan trek. One should be physically & mentally fit.
Meals : Breakfast & DinnerAfter breakfast start early towards Lithim Thach, It is nice walk through pine & oak trees. Total duration of the trek would be around 4 to 5 hours till Lithim Thach. Hot lunch shall be served at Lithim. Lithim thach is beautiful meadow and provide beautiful view of Buran Pass. Rest for a while. PosPost lunch start towards Chandranahan summit. Chandranahan is a lake system feed by glaci glacier and underground spring water. It is a very pious place for the locals and as per the tale l folk taleGod of Rohru - Shikru Devta is supposed to have taken birth here. One can see upto up to 4- 5 lakes, which are not too big or deep either. Spend some good time there. Return back to LithiLithim Thach for the evening. Dinner & Overnight stay at camp.
